Hello everyone my name is Lauren Smith and I am a spontaneous 24 year old from Phoenix, Arizona. I have been traveling all my life and it is a passion that I’m sure will never fade away. I definitely caught the travel bug from my parents at a young age and have now taken it upon myself to explore the world on my own. I feel that travel is a very important aspect to being cultured and growing as a person. I know it has changed me personally and will continue to as I carry on with my travels around the world.
I recently graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Business Marketing. I’m not quite ready for the “real world,” thus another excuse to continue seeing the world. I have amazing parents and an older brother that I’ve done a lot of traveling with over the years, and they thankfully support my adventures. I also have two Italian Greyhounds, Giorgio and Valentino, which are pretty much my children and what I miss most while away from home!

I have a pretty good start with having been to about 75 cities in 17 countries in only 24 short years. There are hundreds of other cities I can’t wait to experience throughout my lifetime. The majority of my travel has been in North America and Europe. I have spent the last three summers in Europe, while living in Spain and traveling all over. I absolutely love the culture, history, and unique cuisine and beverages of each country. This winter I’m heading to Australia to live abroad for a year and do a lot of traveling in that part of the world. Each city is a new adventure and I can’t wait!
I plan on traveling for the rest of my life and hopefully living abroad for a lot of it. There really never is a dull moment in my life and I’m addicted to the spontaneity and adventure that traveling brings.
I can’t wait to share my tips and stories with all of you to hopefully help you all with your travels and to inspire you to get out there and see something new.
